  Construction of Harare Mbudzi Interchange 2024 

National Sports Stadium Refurbishment

As part of Zimbabwe’s effort to upgrade its national infrastructure, we were proudly involved in the refurbishment of the National Sports Stadium. This project was focused on enhancing the stadium's capacity, safety features, and amenities to meet international standards. Our team focused on procuring and installing FIFA-standard bucket seats to upgrade the stadium into a world-class sporting facility. This project is ongoing and targeted for completion by June 2025.

Mbudzi Interchange

​To address Harare's growing traffic congestion, we played a key role in the Mbudzi Interchange project. This large-scale infrastructure initiative involved constructing a modern interchange to improve traffic flow and reduce bottlenecks in a critical area of the city. Our advisory services encompassed feasibility analysis, project fundraising, and construction oversight, ensuring the project met the city's evolving transportation needs.

Lafarge Holcim Zimbabwe Acquisition and Transition

Leveraging our deep understanding of the local market and international best practices, we provided comprehensive advisory services for the acquisition and transition of Lafarge Holcim Zimbabwe to Khayah Cement. Our expertise in strategic planning and transaction infrastructure played a crucial role in the successful completion of this significant deal, which is poised to contribute significantly to Zimbabwe's economic development and industrial growth. Additionally, we facilitated negotiations to ensure a smooth transition throughout the process.

Mbare Market Renewal

We are thrilled to be part of the Mbare Market Renewal project, a transformative initiative aimed at revitalising one of Harare's historic trading hubs. This project is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) focused on renewing the

fire-gutted Mbare Market. By providing strategic advice on urban planning, property sales and marketing, and investor engagement, we're 
helping to improve the market's infrastructure and enhance the overall experience for vendors and visitors alike.

Northgate Estates (New City Development)

NC & Banat is proud to be part of the visionary Northgate Estates project. This ambitious development will create a self-sufficient, smart city on the outskirts of Harare, featuring residential, commercial, and recreational areas.

Zimplats 35 MW Solar Project (Shenxin Construction)

Shenxin Construction engaged us for our expertise on their project with Zimplats, a leading platinum producer, on their solar project. This groundbreaking project focused on developing a 35-megawatt solar plant to provide clean, sustainable energy for Zimplats' operations. Our advisory services in transaction infrastructure played a crucial role in the project's success, marking a significant step toward Zimbabwe's transition to sustainable energy.

The Harare-Beitbridge Road Rehabilitation Project

The Harare-Beitbridge Road Rehabilitation Project is a significant infrastructure initiative aimed at upgrading the 587km highway connecting Harare to South Africa. By enhancing the road's capacity and durability, this project will improve regional trade, reduce travel time, and bolster economic growth.

The project is currently underway, with significant progress made on various sections, including the Chivhu by-pass and Chivhu urban areas. NC & Banat provided extensive advisory services on the deal structuring and financing modalities.
